Esta disciplina se ha considerado en los \u00faltimos 20 a\u00f1os una tecnolog\u00eda profunda, y es ahora muy recientemente junto con el impulso de la inteligencia artificial cuando est\u00e1 empezando a penetrar nuestra sociedad. Salud y bienestar, videojuegos y automoci\u00f3n son algunos de los muchos dominios en los que est\u00e1 impactando. Espa\u00f1a no se quiere quedar atr\u00e1s y se suma a esta creciente tendencia de investigaci\u00f3n anunciando Spain Neurotech, un Centro de referencia con una financiaci\u00f3n de 200 millones de euros que empezar\u00e1 su andadura en 2024.<\/p>\n<p>En esta charla revisar\u00e9 el trabajo de neurotecnolg\u00eda no invasiva de los \u00faltimos 20 a\u00f1os en la Universidad de Zaragoza y su spin-off Bitbrain. Revisaremos aplicaciones en neurorrehabilitaci\u00f3n motora y cognitiva, veremos como se ha realizado la transici\u00f3n de la R&amp;D a la innovaci\u00f3n y producto, y finalmente abordaremos la nueva tendencia de salud digital \u201cdigital neurotherapeutics\u201d. The holy grail of metaverse requires recreating a remotely shared world as a digital twin of the physical planet. In this world, the human is probably the most complex mechanical, physical, and biological system. Unlike computers, it is remarkably challenging to model and engineer how humans perceive and react in a virtual environment. By leveraging computational advancements such as machine learning and biometric sensors, this talk will share some recent research on altering and optimizing the human visual and behavioral perception toward creating the ultimate metaverse.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-gb1624-69eb4128efe87-1-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget_sow-editor panel-last-child\" data-index=\"4\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<h4>Bio<\/h4>\n<p>Qi Sun is an assistant professor at New York University, Tandon School of Engineering (joint with Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering and Center for Urban Science and Progress). Before joining NYU, he was a research scientist at Adobe Research and a research intern at NVIDIA Research. He received his Ph.D. at Stony Brook University. His research interests lie in computer graphics, VR\/AR, vision science, machine learning, and human-computer interaction.
